Please tell us about some of your latest and upcoming speaking engagements. What were the venues, what did the audience consist of and what were the topics that were discussed?
Teresa: My next scheduled speaking event is in June at Ignite To Profits in Atlanta Georgia. I am continually looking for opportunities event. I reach out to different platforms each week inquiring about coming to the events to speak. If they don’t need any more speakers I either buy a ticket to the event or ask if they need help, so I volunteer to help. Yes, I do want to be doing speaking engagements but it’s all about building a strong bond with the people I reach out to.
We applaud your pure heart and inspirational drive for helping women who battle depression. How do you navigate your mental health while helping others?
Teresa: I navigate my mental health using seven principles that I give to my clients. It’s a 7 day mental diet to help keep me on track in my personal life. It can be overwhelming at times that is why I keep my routine to help me to stay grounded. Sometimes it is necessary to dial back and take time to take care of myself. If you want to know more about the challenge you can go to sevendaymentaldiet.com and download your free copy of the book.
We understand that you’re determined to inspire 100 women this year. In what ways do you aspire to achieve this amazing goal?
Teresa: I am always networking. I am very determined to help 100 women. That’s why I do the workshop, webinars, and go to events. It’s all about staying consistent with the approach and positioning myself to call the right plays so I can score the touchdown. I have my own way of helping others, but if you’re like me, it’s just a part of you. I don’t know why, but it’s always been that way for me to have a big heart to help. Maybe it’s my upbringing, maybe it’s just something that’s innate to me but either way, helping others has always been my nature.
What is a super fun fact about yourself that many people are not aware of?
Teresa: A fun fact about me is I absolutely love buying crystals. I’ve always had a passion to collect rocks since I was a child. My siblings thought it was weird to do such a thing. When I discovered crystal, it was game over. Different crystal has a different meaning. I’m just obsessed with them I believe my crystal collection is about 50 pieces. It will be more that I will collect. I always encourage you to do what you love, and I absolutely enjoy crystals.
What do you want your legacy to look like?
Teresa: I want to make a positive imprint to benefit future generations. It’s my calling to do as much as I can while I am here on Earth. With all the book I write, interview that I do and speeches I give, if it just helps one person my legacy will be beneficial to others. I’m in the business to help a woman that needs a community to be a part of. That is the foundation that I’m building. Doing all the heavy lifting so no one starts from the beginning. It can also be a source of pride and motivation, inspiring others to strive for greatness, regardless of their circumstances. I’m leaving my footprint wherever I go. That is the legacy that I am thrilled to be a part of. Making the world a better place is all I dream of.
