TEDx speaker, and Book Profits Club Founder, Taurea Vision Avant also known as the Queen of Book Profiting is gearing up for an International Speaking Tour in Italy. Taurea says statistics show that about 80% of most authors make less than $10,000 a year. This is why Taurea decided to create a group that would be dedicated to helping authors thrive in profits and visibility. That is how The Book Profits Club™ was formed in 2019.

You’ve written over 15 books, congratulations! We just love the titles of your books and what they represent including “The 10k Book”, “Don’t Go Broke Trying to Be a Business Owner“ and “How Not To Be A Broke Author”. What would you say have made your books such a success?

Taurea: Awww well thank you so much. I would say that the key to any successful book is having a title that connects directly to the challenge that the reader is having. I make sure that I am grabbing the attention by specifically connecting to the problem and creating a solution. I also will say that it’s important to make sure when marketing you know who your audience is. There are 8 billion people in the world so I dont need for everyone to read it. 

I also know that everyone is going through different challenges based upon their circumstances. Single mothers have different challenges than married mothers. 19-year-olds have different challenges than 40 year old. Caucasian males from San Diego California have different challenges than African American women from East Chicago Illinois. I learned quickly to know who my audience is and how to connect to them.

Taurea: I would say there are five main reasons why Book Profits Club is growing at the rate it is growing. We offer so much support for authors and future authors who want to leverage their books to multiple streams of income. Here are five main touch-points of our program.

What else is going on in Taurea’s world as of late?

Taurea: I’m excited about the international travel we are doing. We are headed to Italy in July to speak and we are bringing some Book Profits Club members with us. I’m also working on us going to West Africa and Dubai for us to speak.

Any exclusive news you can share with us first?

Taurea: We are excited to announce that we will start enrolling authors into our 2023/2024 Author Allstars Magazine. We have already taken this magazine to South Africa. We’ve sold more than 3000 copies and we are planning to go to more locations.

What advice would you have for authors who are currently struggling to make a profit with their books?

Taurea: Remember it’s easier to leverage your books to sell other products and services. I’d rather sell 100 books and then 10% of them turn into customers of higher products and services. Then try to sell 600+ books per month. I teach authors how to make over $10,000+ per month so if they are selling on their own website and not Amazon, they are making about $15 per book sale. 

If on Amazon, they are making way less. But to make %10,000 per month with that book on your own website, that’s over 667 books per month. So I teach my authors how to get 100 books into qualified hands per month which will turn into additional sales of other products and services.
