What was your vision when you first started in your industry? How has your vision changed or remained the same at this point of your entrepreneurial/creative journey?
Denise: When I first started, my main goal was to showcase my individuality, which I did through various photoshoots. As my vision came to life, it evolved and took on a new meaning with every picture, each one conveying a unique message.
What is it in your life that has given you the most sense of purpose?
Denise: The greatest sources of purpose in my life for me are my daughter and my faith in God which have given my life the most meaning. Moreover, the difficulties I’ve faced have also been a driving force for me; there comes a time when you just can’t afford to be without it.
Describe a moment when your business or creative goals exceeded your expectations.
Denise: Achieving My Greatest Goal: A Mental Health Shoot with Flowers Around two months ago, I conceptualized a project that involved mental health and flowers. The premise was simple: instead of relying on words alone, studying nature could be a powerful tool for those struggling with depression or anxiety. Today, I’m thrilled to say that the project was a success and has helped many individuals.
Please tell us about the latest accomplishments you’re proud of.
Denise: Unlocking New Talents: My Experience Hosting and Producing “The Boogie Down” Fashion Show in the Bronx . That was an unforgettable experience that left me in shock. I discovered a new talent that I didn’t even know I had, and I couldn’t be more proud. It was a moment of unlocking a new skill that I never knew existed within me.
“What’s next for you after such a successful career?”
Denise: I believe I have so much more to offer to the world, even though I can’t quite pinpoint exactly what that is. But I am confident that greatness is on the horizon.
