We obtained an exclusive interview with Ashaala Shanae to discuss what she enjoys most in her career, her passion to become a Mental Health Advocate, and more.
What do you enjoy most about coaching and mentoring?
Ashaala Shanae: I am most proud of seeing the growth and confidence of my clients during and after taking my programs. To see them fully operate in their calling and be educated, equipped, and empowered to share their growth with the rest of the world is amazing.
The SAG Awards recently took place and we understand that you’re a member of SAG-AFTRA. What has being apart of this prestigious organization meant to you?
Ashaala Shanae: It’s a complete honor.
What sparked your passion to become a Mental Health Advocate for Creatives?
Ashaala Shanae: My non-profit, LOVESTRUCK INC came out of the realization that Creatives can often be challenged with Suicidal thoughts, Anxiety, Depression, and other Mental and Emotional Health stressors.
The organization provides community support, safe space resources, and practical tools to those battling with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation and other mental and emotional health challenges.
What are you currently working on?
Ashaala Shanae: Currently, I am re-launching a new and improved version of my Vocal Wallstreet™ University; which is an online vocal coaching mentorship portal that provides mindset, skillset, and toolset accommodations to speakers and singers seeking help in improving their voice. The university is loaded with video modules, PDF downloads, charts, reading resources, an online interactive community forum, bi-weekly Q&A sessions, and sectional quizzes. It focuses on five (5) common areas for optimal vocal quality and success; they include: Voice Confidence; Vocal Health and Anatomy; Vocal Pedagogy; Performance; and Voice Monetization.
What else would you like our readers to know about what you have planned for 2023?
Ashaala Shanae: Looking forward to a very successful and productive year of connections, partnerships, mentorship, masterminds, endorsements, lots of self-care, and more passive income streams!
