Real Talk: Becoming You – The Woman of Inner Strength & Beauty

A Virtual Summit Quick Recap!!

Hey working mom, I see you… we see you. As a working mom with a strong community of working moms by my side, we testify that we are no longer in a season of doubt, feeling stuck or alone. We have rebirthed, evolved, and stepped into who God has destined us to be. Did you realize you were in this new season, and more importantly how do you as a working mom embrace this “new new” and confidently pursue a new outlook on life?

Our host Latika kicked off the summit with a profound realization and reminder.
“Too often you allow yourself to be co-dependent upon other people’s feelings to dictate how you will feel for the day. Too often you allow yourself to be co-dependent upon other people’s feelings to dictate how you will lead your life. In this season of becoming a woman of inner strength and beauty, you must take a stand for yourself and what you believe in to lead a life that is fulfilling and satisfying. God chose you to be here in this time to fulfill the destiny He laid on your life. It’s pruning season!” As some may say – just let that sit in your spirit for a moment. To prune is to remove damaged, dead or diseased parts. It’s a process that can be done at any time of the year and as frequent as needed. When was the last time you pruned? Not your flower bed, but internally, with in yourself, your life, or your environment.

Hot Tip: Make God a full partner in your business.
Shaina Quick shared her experience of how motherhood and family priorities outweighed her career ambitions. She stepped out of the corporate world and is now fueled by “Jesus and coffee”.
Marisa Logic and Dr. CC shared with everyone how sometimes you have to “shake things up”, “do it scared”, and “clear the clutter” to overcome fears that come with juggling work, like, and entrepreneurship. It all starts with faith and God’s promise.

Hot Quote: “My reality is NOT my complaint.” – Natalia Powers
POWERFUL! Natalia’s response to the question of what sould healing did you have to go through on your journey of becoming a woman of inner strength and beauty was a realization that her reality was not her complaint. [mic drop!]
