What does a typical day look like for you as an Editor-in-Chief?

A typical day is filled with planning and re-planning. Most of my mornings are spent preparing for the evening by making phone calls, sending emails, and coordinating tasks. By the afternoons, I’m immersed in what I love — designing and creating. I make sure to take breaks, including short naps, to recharge. Family is important to me, so I carve out time for them as well. Since my team is small, I often find myself completing major tasks alone. As a result, I feel both tired and excited throughout the day.

Who is your biggest inspiration as an entrepreneur?

I can’t point to just one person or thing as my inspiration. I’m inspired by those who go for their dreams no matter the obstacles. People who use their fear to fuel their passion and who never give up truly motivate me.

How do you define success?

I define success by my level of happiness and the impact I have. The most important aspect for me while pursuing my dreams is considering the kind of influence I will have on future generations and my family. If happiness isn’t part of my day-to-day activities, I don’t feel successful; instead, I’ll feel defeated.

What has been your most significant achievement?

My most significant achievement has been starting my business. That was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, and it’s something I’m in awe of every day.

What type of content can readers expect from your magazine? How do you choose topics and themes for each issue?

In the past, readers could expect tips on becoming better entrepreneurs, ways to celebrate and balance life as a creative, and stories from individuals in various industries sharing their advice. To be honest, some topics were random and influenced by the broader business climate. Now, Coffea shares more behind-the-scenes stories and features intriguing individuals through both series and traditional editorial formats.
