What was the inspiration behind your brand?

Kimberli: My Mom passed in 2004. I was unprepared both by naively believing she would live forever and in being equipped to live after she was gone. I also realized there was such a heavy stigma around therapy. I needed to know what I was feeling was totally ok. I want to be the community I needed at that time.

What’s the mission statement for your nonprofit?

Kimberli: At Celebrate Still, Inc., our mission is to help individuals find a new normal after experiencing loss. We are committed to normalizing grief, removing the stigma around therapy, and building a supportive community for those navigating through challenging times.

What would attract listeners to your personal story?

Kimberli: I am relatable. I am the friend we all need. My story is real and I believe in transparency.

What is your proudest business accomplishment?

Kimberli: My proudest moment was walking into the venue for my first brunch. To see it all come together and people walking through the doors was mind-blowing. It was all the validation I needed to keep going.

What’s your best piece of advice for aspiring and new entrepreneurs?

Kimberli: Take your time. Don’t be discouraged by algorithms. Consistency is key.
