With a plethora of accomplishments under her belt, Grace has proven herself to be a true visionary in the dance industry. As an accomplished dancer, studio owner, published choreographer, dance educator, movement and dance team coach, and artist developer, she has dedicated her life to honing her craft and sharing her passion with others.

One of Grace’s most notable achievements is the establishment of Neema Dance Collective. As the founder, owner, and artistic director of this renowned dance collective located in Temple Hills and District Heights, Maryland, she has created a space where dancers can thrive creatively while receiving top-notch training.

Grace’s commitment to excellence extends beyond the studio walls. She has been recognized as a proud Tory Burch Foundation Entrepreneur and Tory Burch Fellow. These prestigious accolades reflect her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of others through her work.

Furthermore, Grace’s contributions have been acknowledged through various grants and awards. In 2023, she was honored as a Women of Color Grant Recipient — a testament to her exceptional talent and unwavering commitment to empowering women in the arts.

Grace’s training began at the tender age of 4 at RJV Dance Studio in Washington, DC. With 28 years of dance experience, she has studied at: Suitland High School’s Visual Performing Arts Dance Program, The Christian Dance Academy, Dance Theater of Harlem, The Ailey School Summer Intensive Program, the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Maryland Youth Ballet, The Washington Ballet, and the Greensboro Ballet. Wherein, she mastered various genres of dance from ballet, tap, jazz, folk, African, Hawaiian, modern, Horton Technique, ballroom, and hip-hop with certifications in the Cecchetti method.

Today, Grace enjoys sowing into the lives of other dancers. She continues to teach ballet, Pointe, Jazz, and contributes to competitive dance choreography at dance schools in the DMV area. She is an award winning competitive dance choreographer and has earned prestigious choreography awards and is a Studio Of Excellence award recipient.

She has been the Artistic/Creative Director and choreographer for local R&B sensations and church Dance Ministries. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, a Masters Degree in Public Health from George Washington University, and a certificate in dance therapy.
